Emerald Isle’s 50th Anniversary “Drive-in Movie Night” – Movies on the beach! Load everyone into the car and come to the Eastern Ocean Regional Access at 2701 Ocean Drive (next to Ocean Reef condos). May 18th is ET and May 19th is Grease. Gates open at 6pm, and the movie begins at dusk. Admission is free, and concessions will be available for a fee. Want more info? Beginner Shag Lessons—come to the Emerald Isle Parks & Recreation on Wednesday nights beginning May 23rd. Be sure to wear comfortable clothes, and preferably leather bottom shoes. Lessons are held from 6:30 to 7:30 and cost $75/couple or $40/individual. If you want to just drop in and try one, there’s a fee of $10.
